Antaira Technologies partnered with an autonomous bus manufacturer to help complete a unique, smart, and safe transportation application. An autonomous bus was created with external sensors to shuttle around students, professors, and visitors on a school campus between neighborhoods and city centers with predetermined routes. This driverless vehicle features an onboard camera and a GPS system powered by Antaira's industrial low-voltage (12-36VDC) PoE switch; the LMP-0800G-24-T. With an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C and hardened IP30 capabilities, this industrial Ethernet switch was the perfect solution to operating the shuttle during scorching summers and chilly winters.
