Antaira Introduces New Compact Serial to Fiber Converter Series
(STF-401C Series)
Antaira is proud to be expanding its Serial product family with a new series of Industrial Serial-To-Fiber convertersIndustrial Serial-To-Fiber converters. The STF-401C series is designed to protect connected serial equipment from surges, spikes and electrostatic discharges carried on the serial cable to the fiber optic cable.
The STF-401C series is built to withstand industrial networking hazards like shock, drop, vibration, electromagnetic interference (EMI) and temperature extremes. Version options in a 0 ~ 60°C model range or an extended - 40 ~ 70°C range are available. The indsutrial serial to fiber converter series secures asynchronous RS-232, RS-485 or RS-422 serial data transmissions over EMI resistant fiber at speeds up to 1024kbps with distance extension up to 2km in multimode fiber or up to 30km in single mode fiber models. With its Compact Size design, the STF-401C is a perfect solution for either Point-to-Point, or half duplex single ring topology Serial Fiber Daisy Chain Network applications.
