With the help of Antiara's compact low-voltage PoE switches, Viper Imaging developed an elevated body temperature scanner with their thermal imaging technology, in response to the COVID19 pandemic. This scanner may be used at the entrances of large event centers, airports, or any public arena in order to ensure public safety and health. As with many industrial control panels, there was 24VDC available for power yet the FLIR camera requires an 802.3at compliant PoE input at a minimum of 48VDC. Antaira has the ideal solution in the LNP-800AGH-24 PoE switch that can provide an IEEE standard PoE output with a 24VDC input in addition to being the network switch for all the devices in the control cabinet.
