Class 1 Division 2 Devices
Antaira's Class 1 Division 2 industrial networking devices are certified for hazardous locations where flammable liquids, gases, and vapors are present in the air in quantities sufficient to produce an explosion or fire. The Division 2 specifies flammable materials are handled, processed or used in the defined hazardous locations, but are not normally present in concentrations high enough to be ignitable but may accidentally exist. This C1D2 certification is vital to industrial networking devices used in rugged temperatures and extreme environments.
